Oh, goodness no.  A lot of it is statistical evidence.

No, actually some of it is pretty solid, especially
the Journal of Conflict Resolution study.  The thing
is, it would have to be *ironclad* before skeptics
would consider it.  And even if the Maharishi Effect
really exists, as I said, it would be virtually
impossible to prove to that degree of certainty. There
are just too many variables.

No, actually that it would be almost impossible to
prove is what *I'm* saying, not what the TM
researchers are saying, or the TMO, for that matter.
That's why they've done the studies, you see, so
they can say they've proved it, or at least have
good evidence for it.

Except that isn't what they've said.  And there have
been a couple of dictators that *have* decided to
take a flyer on it (so to speak) on the basis of
the studies.

I'm not trying to argue you out of your skepticsm,
just trying to help you get your facts straight
so you're an *informed* skeptic.
