The "Jewish registration" story turns out to have been what amounts to a hoax, Michael. A flyer with the announcement that Jews must register was distributed in one town in the Ukraine by three masked gunmen, but nobody has been able to determine where it originated--certainly not from Putin. In any case, Jews are not being required to register, so you can cross that off your list of grievances.
