They you're probably the only one here that didn't get my point.
MMY being a monk for most of his adult life wouldn't exactly help him
understand what being a man in the world is all about. Life is pretty
easy for most fellows who become recluses - they don't have to deal with
a spouse and children, and how to integrate a spiritual life into one
that is based on being a householder trying to earn a living and provide
for a large family. This may be way out of your element - being a single
guy and all. Go figure.
Doesn't matter. Monks can teach meditation to householders. We have a
Hindu temple out in Livermore I've visited though I confess I haven't
visited the Shiva temple in Concord (if it's still there).
Keep trying and maybe some lifetime you'll understand how this all
works. :-D
