It is an economic imperative that we stabilize the world's oil supply. The question is, how do we do that? With smart diplomacy - or failing that, with force of arms? When you come up against a violent, religious fanatic, extremist bent on destroying us, are we just going to sit back and be destroyed? There will be no solution to the Middle East problem so long as religious extremists are in control - it's a training camp for jihad. Go figure.
