This group is rather "retro 80s". That intensity of rhythm wasn't
around in the 60s but came about with disco. Not saying anything wrong
with the group or their music just musing on (with many popular musical
acts) little has changed. Funny thing about disco (and now "club
music") was the 4/4 bass drum beat that reminded many a musician of
their marching band days. :-D

Bhairitu,
The chord progressions the band was using were not that difficult.
But she made the difference in the delivery. Plus, the new drummer
she had today was "funkier" than the one in the clip. She could have
used more background vocal harmonies to make her performances better.

Interesting how little has changed in 50 years. Just better gear (we
didn't have synths back then, that took another decade and they
weren't very good).
I watched "Under the Skin" on BD last night. Wow! What a different
film. If you watch it on BD or DVD be sure to check out the special
features because there is some surprising stuff in them.

After eating at a Mexican restaurant near the University of San

Then, I realized that today was the AIDS Walk San Francisco
Benefit that was held at the park. This was the group that played
today. Betty Who and her band. She could be the next sensation.
