It may lie beyond the time and distance of the cosmic wave background.  In a 
few billion years, the CWB could disappear since the universe is expanding at 
an increasing speed.  When that edge of the universe reaches the speed of 
light, then it would blink out from our visible horizon.
 

 So, in effect, the galaxies around us are potentially the multiverse when they 
blink out from our visible horizon.
