Most of the time this week we were forced to defend our position, taking
up a lot of time rebutting some scurrilous insinuations and making or
spreading scandalous claims about someone or some group with the
intention of damaging their reputation. We spend way too much time
trying to defend our practice than we should have to. The messages by
some informants concerning the TMO video were pretty disgusting - /we
are not crazy brainwashed or zombies blindly following a cult/. Judy
said there are many informants on this list that lie a lot and tell fibs
and exaggerate.
So, I just wonder why nobody else posted much of anything interesting to
read? Why am I left to do all the heavy lifting around here? A few
respondents seemed to get really excited when emptybill posted some of
the results of his research into the work of James Swartz and Advaita
Vedanta and Coman's Patanjali Yoga. I was almost inspired to post more!
It seems like almost everyone agrees that FFL these days is composed
mostly of just fluff and drivel and what someone had for lunch or a TV
show they watched - /tomorrow/ - nothing much about understanding the
mechanics of consciousness.
