Steve, imho this is Classic You, thoroughly enjoyable to read, full of fun and
clever references like Philly; and concrete images like the food one at the
end. My bet is also on the Texan. But only because of Fashion Week (-:

and it's Danny out in front by a nose, and we're approaching the second turn.
The handicappers are saying Danny, coming off an extended rest for almost a
year is going to have more stamina coming down the stretch.

But we've see Richard, just fire off 10, 12 posts at a shot. And what happens
if someone posts about Fred's levitation. That could immediately catapult
Richard into lead.

Some pundits are saying author's friend may be at the track in the next week or
so, coming off extended absence. That could make it difficult for these two
contenders dealing with a Philly.

But back to the race. It's the Texan vs. the New Yorker, and the New Yorker
seems intent on making his mark. It's more of friendly rivalry than we
sometimes see.

Bottom line, is it going to be the bagels with lox that crossing the finish
line first, or chile con queso with BBQ that wins.

I say the Texan is going to prevail.
