lead by Dannyboy, followed by Punditster.
there has been a request for some background, or "color" on the two

callers have been asking, "does the Punditster have a traditional
Texas drawl?
does Dannyboy have a traditional New Yark accent?
we'd have to hear from the participants directly on that.
but back to the race
what a second folks, the announcer just realized that's its nose to
nose among the third place horses, with even the mid westerner showing
a little strength.
This is where the excitement has turned.
There is really no daylight between the two, and this third place
finish is just too close to call.
The pundits are talking now about time zone differences, and what
factor they might play.
Since that has come over the wires the betting pool shifted in favor
of the South Carolinian.
The BCer has been known to come on strong a little later in the race,
but it could be too late.
