Curtis, if I have a prayer, and I may silently say this on occasion, "Thy will

M: Could it be otherwise if there is a God? What would be its purpose, like
saying "water please be wet." He is God, why the nudge?

I don't see it as a nudge, I see that statement, "Thy will be done" as a
confirmation in the belief or faith of the supplicant in God's ultimate wisdom
and power and final decision in a thing. It is not a redundant statement, it is
an affirmation.
