Share, IMO the church is saying that all women have a choice. They can have sex and children which is perfectly acceptable and human. Or be a virgin like Mary which is acceptable as well if that is their preference. What they are NOT free to do is become priests, and help to lead a spiritual movement. It's just like Maharishi's organization. John doesn't see the issue because he's as much of a male chauvinist pig as he is a religious nut.
