Indeed, but since they have tried to correlate changing numbers with changing crime-rates over a period of time, with the DC study and with the ongoing Invincible America Course statistics, correlation does indeed imply causation.
Unless you can point out how fluctuations in the number of people participating in Fairfield are being influenced by something that also happens to influence crime statistics even as the numbers fluctuate. Mind you, I don't know if they actually HAVE found any such correlation between the ever-chainging numbers in Fairfield and crime rates in the USA, but if they do, then it will be a pretty good indication that the ME works.
