I do think something should be done. This used to be a good forum, although
it has always been a contentious one. It has degenerated recently and some of
the best posters have left...
Ahem. NO ONE appears to have left.
A bunch of poseurs -- including Buck, WLeed, Share, and YOU, feste -- *claimed*
to have left, but it would seem you're all still here, still whining, still
complaining, and still trying to get your own way. What's up with that? Aren't
any of you honest enough to leave and actually *stay* gone?
Especially now that you've got somewhere to go?
T'would seem that all of you are much more invested in bitching and whining
than you are in having a non-negative place to post. You now HAVE that -- at
least theoretically -- but you're still here bitching.
What should the rest of us make of this? It's almost as if you're all
hypocrites who *claim* that what you want is a "negativity-free environment"
but when one is provided to you, all you can do is stick around in the old
environment and bitch and moan and...dare I say it...be negative.
, and I think some action is needed to revive it. I suggest a restoration of
the posting limits, which actually worked pretty well for some time. A little
policing from the moderators would not go amiss either. For example, the recent
post that contained the obscene phrase, which I will not repeat here, should
have been deleted by the moderators as a breach of community standards.

we hadhoped for with the forum as we started FarifieldLife these many years ago
