 "Ammon" was the name of the highest Egyptian deity.

 

 The Hindu mantra is "Aum".
 

 Gotta be some linkage there, no? Either there was a cross-civilization spread 
of that form or the "Ahmmmm" sound occurs naturally when one listens out for 
that inner vibration.
