However, prior to perfection, there are techniques to enliven one's path to perfection. Asanas and pranayama before meditation, a healthy diet and exercise, good sleep, a life-supporting moral code, etc. Vastu, one might assume, is yet another one of these. I'm guessing that he feels it to be so important because it is *automatic," unlike the rest, which require constant attention to maintain. Also, if there really IS an geometric-orientation effect on cognitive process, as many mainstream neuro-scientists have speculated concerning the functioning of the hippocampus, its conceivable that the effect is not merely noticeable for someone who is enlightened, but that the contrast between vastu and non-vastu is overwhelmingly great. Perhaps living in Vastu for the last decade or so has changed MMY's consciousness so much that he realizes he and the TMO have been operating at way less than 100% for the past 50 years. Or perhaps he's delusional, or maybe he just wants to leave his nephews billions instead of millions. Whatever. ------------------------ Yahoo!
