Boy, this is really going to be useful for creating enlightened human beings. Monuments that say, 'Look what we might have done, but instead we built these buildings at the lowest cost per square foot'. In terms of 'enlightenment', the only thing that stands as a gift of 'total knowledge' is an enlightened human being. On top of that everyone is already experiencing total knowledge. All that has to be done is find a way to point it out to people, i.e., meditation, and some related disciplines so they get it. In just about 60 years the movement has gone from a vigorous spiritual movement to a decaying shell of posturing. It seems as if (assuming for the sake of the argument that popular theories of karma are true) Maharishi's karma was to have been surrounded by idiots to such an extent that his flaws rather than any wisdom he might have had were eventually brought to the fore.
