The so called American history is perhaps short as a colony & independent nation but we well remember 1066 & the Protestant Wind of 1588 & its job on the Spanish armada, allied with france, the colonies were ever afraid of Spain & france, till later in our history here 1750 for Sp & later fr.Then our contact with the BLACK one's the Jesuits accompanying the french & Indians ,raiding us down as far as York PA burning all while,* ( some of my Quaker ancestors were spared from the assult in 2 different raids) & killing all on the west side of the Susquehanna river. That was ended with the fall of Que. french this fear ended in 1760,s ,as well we know.

And if not, why not? Also interesting your comment about drug-addled Rush (ironic...) Limbaugh- heard him on the radio last Wednesday, and I couldn't believe my ears. The man is clearly no longer in his right mind. I am not particularly a Rush basher; he is no different than many of the [B***] apologists out there, but I was astonished at his inability to form or at least express a coherent thought. I honestly could not understand the point he was trying to make- he was babbling! Very weird. ------------------------ Yahoo!
