I've been watching it because it is actually a show that is set in Seattle where the writers seem to know something about the place although it's filmed in British Columbia. "The Killing" which was also set in the Seattle had locations that don't even exist. One qualm about episode 3 is the actor playing the detective needed to be told to run "Walla Walla" into one word like "wallawalla" because that's the way Washingtonians pronounce it. "Walla" means water in Nez Perce and the plural is just the word twice. There was a confluence of rivers and creeks there so that what the Native Americans called it.

It's a story about a young woman doctor who attends a party on a boat where everyone gets slipped a drug that turns some of them into zombies. She still retains some of humanity except for a hunger for brains. A friendly morgue doctor provides her with a supply from deceased felons and eating the brains give her the ability to experience memory of them thus helping solve crimes. Yup, it's a quirky procedural.
