The TMO is a great "technique" to liberate the mind from attaching to any perspective at all. To take the TMO seriously would entail either massive denial and repression of authentic experience or outright insanity! The best thing is to simply do your program, have a regular routine for activity and completely ignore the TMO discourse. Only trust your own experience.
