Most Indian doctors I have known did not practice ayurveda but western
medicine. Difference between them and many western doctors? Most of
the Indian doctors actually were interested in medical science instead
of a way to keep themselves on the golf course for a few days of work a
week.

Don't you just love that TMO buzz word, *Vedic*. I guess it's better

good Jewish doctor over a good Hindoo doctor. Would you rather have a
series of blood tests, ECG, Echocardiogram. etc. and take reliable
medicine or Have your pulse taken, told to suck on a cardamom seed,
eat more ghee and do a yagya for about the same price.

Yeah, practicing meditation, in general, will tend to have health
benefits. It doesn't matter if it's TM or something else. Big "duh"
there. But care must be taken as we discussed the other day. TM is
not for everyone and it is certainly priced way out of most people's
reach.

More PR bullshit from Bobby Schneider - of course he would run and
write an article refuting the Wall Street Journal's article on the
limited benefits of meditation because if people see that one, they

And this from the guy who as a cardiologist claims to be an expert on
"vedic psychiatry"
