OK Doug, you're nearest to HQ perhaps you could find out whyy they aren't howling from the rooftops that they have a cure for the world's pain.
I don't believe that it works - as you might have noticed - but I don't know why they've stopped the proselytising about the Marshy Effect. In my day, at the slightest hint of a war they'd be holding WPA's as near as possible to the conflict. I took part in many of them myself. They don't even mention it on the TM website any more! My thoughts are that claiming to be able to create world peace using spooky action at a distance is going to embarrass the efforts of David Lynch. The last thing the DLF will want as publicity is bus loads of yogic flyers in Syria, the media will realise he's the main man in the TMO and demand a quote from him about it. And that'll be his reputation in tatters. People will tie it in with the work he does in schools and that'll be the end of that. My other idea is that now we know the size of the Higg's boson and how that affects the behaviour of other subatomic particles, we know definitively that grand unification doesn't happen. So it's a bit hard to say that consciousness somehow communicates nice things across time and space. But we knew that after the SU(5) experiments in the late 70's, not that they - or any physics experiment then or since - had anything to do with consciousness but it's hard to hitch a ride on other people's work if the truck you've jumped into is now known not to be going anywhere special. Anyway, having worked for the TMO I know that journalists wouldn't ask any specialist questions about that, all they ever wanted was a few pics of people hopping about for the files. So I admit I'm puzzled at the lack of effort from people who claim, as part of the core of their being, to have the answer. It's the same here, in Skem we have a summer course coming up and a few vedic doctors pottering about failing to spot serious illnesses but no anti-war hysteria, no pleas for donations even. It was different in my day. Very different. Are they relying on yagya's perhaps? If they are it's Vishnu against Allah and it looks like the completely appalling ISIS are winning.
