Did Doug just gain a seat on the board of FFL?
 I think not.

Doug has campaigned to be a moderator for quite a while. He wants to
straighten out FFL – ostensibly to reform it into a “civil” forum. However, FFL
has long been a free-fire zone, although not every type of behavior is
tolerated here.

Ravioli was a case in point. He was the poster boy for gratuitous insults of
every kind. He only remained on FFL because some of the “women” liked him –
after all, he stroked them daily. No clearer emblem of their shallow
personalities needs to be demonstrated. In the end, after numerous incidents,
warnings and temporary exiles, he was show the door.

Doug doesn’t seem to like a free speech zone that is uncivil. Along with that
line, I agree with him - a certain decorum in posting behavior is warranted in
FFL.

Now that Doug has a position which he has long desired, let’s let him run with
it. The proof will be his impartial and objective moderation.

However, there is one consideration worth recalling about Doug.
 Can you say "Spiritual Correctness"?
