Hey, how bout that funny stuff that was coming from the sky today?
Whaddya call it? Rain? Anyhoo I got to drive over to Berkeley in it
and what fun that was. I80 was a parking lot from Pinole south. The
only good part of it was that Berkeley put their thinking caps on and
it's a little easier to make it around the streets than it used to be.
Can we say left turn lanes at intersections?

Bhairitu,
Thanks for the news. I was going to eat there last Sunday, but
changed my mind to have dinner at another restaurant.
But I'm glad they're not changing the menu. That means, I can still
have their braised lamb shanks, my favorite. I usually have a mug of
Sierra Nevada IPA beer with it, which makes me a happy camper.

But maybe you already knew that. The good news is the new owner, who is
a SF native, is not changing anything.

JR mentioned eating there a while ago. I haven't eaten there probably
since the 1980s. But we probably have a few folks who may have if they
lived in the Bay Area or visited. Look at those price (and that was
recent). Gotta be one of the best deals in the area.
