Musicians like myself and Curtis are familiar with the "Party Boy" 
archetype.  They are the ones who often want to "sit in" at a wedding 
reception and aren't usually very good musicians but we indulge them.  
One can tell by the wincing of the guests this is the guy's usual 
"venue" and they too indulge him.  The party boy has a bit of an 
insecurity so needs to be the center of attention.
