Re "I got a better one. A friend and her husband flew down to the Philippines to have vast quantities of endometriosis removed from her abdomen [by a psychic surgeon]. She even brought back pictures to "prove" it.": The saddest link between "psychic surgery" and TM is the case of American entertainer and enthusiastic meditator Andy Kaufman (he was almost pathetically emotionally reliant on the TMO). When he fell victim to lung cancer his last resort in search of a cure was "psychic surgery" in Baguio, the Philippines. Man on the Moon is a 1999 American biographical comedy-drama film about this life starring Jim Carrey (another enthusiastic meditator ). I suspect that Kaufman's trip to the Philippines was a last, desperate, "well nothing else is going to work" clutching at straws but I suppose it's possible he had had his judgement weakened by attending all those SCI courses. He was a true original in his role as stand-up comedian. It's tragic when someone talented dies in their thirties. Anyone claiming it was his karma? If one believes in karma then, by default, it would be karma-related. But who says dying young is necessarily the result of bad karma? That would be assuming death was a punishment or a bad thing - none of which I personally believe despite the fact I am pretty much scared shitless of dying - at least at this point in my life. ---In [email protected], <awoelflebater@...> wrote : ---In [email protected], <[email protected]> wrote : ---In [email protected], <anartaxius@...> wrote : Another way to enter a person's body is to fire large bullets at it, and then stick your hands in the holes. If you want to make money doing this, it is probably better to train as a thoracic surgeon. I was internally inspectedby that psychic surgeon who came to FF (still does?) He took genuine chicken entrails, wait, I mean genuine demonic growths from my very guts before my very eyes I TELLS YA! Hee hee, true story....paid for the whole family too. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, thusly did I support commerce in our beloved little town in the Midwest. Never believed...but had some cash, and it was too far to drive to Chicago for decent entertainment. I got a better one. A friend and her husband flew down to the Philippines to have vast quantities of endometriosis removed from her abdomen. But that would mean leaving your own body. The Srimad Bhagavatam stated that this was accomplished by someone in one of it's chapters. I'm sure MMY was familiar with this sutra. However, we don't know if he had experimented with this sutra and tried the technique with one of the Purusha members. So far, with the known TM siddhi techniques, we have not seen anyone floating in the air, nor walking through walls. ---In [email protected], <s3raphita@...> wrote : New movie that could have an appeal for FFL. In Self/Less an extremely wealthy man (Ben Kingsley), dying from cancer, undergoes a radical medical procedure that transfers his consciousness into the body of a healthy young man (Ryan Reynolds). It's not been released yet so it's a pity Barry isn't still posting here as he's probably seen it via some dodgy download site. Hey! There isn't a TM Sidhi for securing immortality is there?
