to take an occasional poke at. I have found them a little arrogant and
condescending over the course of my life. I guess Charles De Gualle gave me my
first impression of the French and it hasn't improved since. I think getting
them to join in the regime change of Saddam would have been asking a little much
of the French even if Iraq would have had stock piles of WMD's and they
had been found. Personally I wouldn't have trusted them since Saddam was such a
good customer of theirs. I think one post on this thread may have indicated that
I would consider the French my enemy because they don't agree with me. I would
not call them my enemy but I would also refrain from calling them my ally. Maybe
a distant friend or acquaintance.
