Over the years I've wondered several things about how teachers were compensated. Were they salaried "back in the day" of all the Merv Griffin initiations, or were they paid on commission?
Also, we the applications that we all filled out, were they qualified at some national or international office first, like with the Siddhi Program, or were people qualified locally? Once initiated, I assume the names of those initiated were sent on to some large database. Is that database still maintained or did it go by the wayside over the years? Also, is the Siddha database still active? Those of us without flying badges might need to get a reference if we were to attend a WPA, etc.? What is up with this recert program for teachers! Is it just a shakedown for money and a loyalty test? Was new knowledge imparterd and what was that new knowledge? Did these folks have to round for a week to test their purity or demonstrate they still can do the puja from memory? Inquirying minds want to know. Thanks in advance. ------------------------ Yahoo!
