The Buddha Relics to go home now.  The last public exhibition to be this week 
in Arizona.  Out on a world tour they earlier came to visit Fairfield, Iowa for 
several days but now the Buddha relics as the Loving Kindness exhibition are 
being sent back to India. It was an extremely nice blessing to have the 
exhibition come to us.    

 Dear Prior Hosts of the Buddha Relics and Friends,

 
The exhibition of sacred Buddhist Relics through the Spiritual Director Lama 
Zopa Rinpoche and under the direction of H.H. the 14th Dalai Lama is coming to 
an end.

Maitreya Loving Kindness Tour is a world-wide touring collection of sacred 
relics of the historical Buddha Shakyamuni and many other Buddhist masters from 
India Tibet, Korea & China. His Holiness the Dalai Lama has graciously offered 
to this collection, eight relics of the historical Buddha that are over 2,500 
years old. The tour also features relics from forty other Buddhist masters from 
different parts of the world, in all there are over 1,000 relics in this 
collection, making it the largest touring relic collection of its kind.

Lama Zopa Rinpoche has advised that all touring collections of Relics should be 
placed on permanent display at the Maitreya Projects in in Bodhgaya and 
Kushinagar, India. Therefore, Maitreya Loving Kindness Tour Relic events will 
finish at the end of 2015.
  
 The very last opportunity to see and pay respect to these sacred Relics in the 
United States will be in Sedona, Arizona onDecember 12 from 11 am – 6 pm and 
December 13 from 11 am – 6 pm.
  
 This event is completely free of charge and includes a blessing with one of 
the Relics of Buddha Shakyamuni.
  
 In the name of the Buddha and this sacred Relics of Buddhist masters from all 
Buddhist traditions and lineages, we are asking for your support for this last 
and final event, through your prayers, participation (if you can come to 
Sedona) and letting others know that may be interested. If possible, please 
print out the attached flyer and share it with your Sangha. Please also forward

 Maitreya Loving Kindness Relic Tour Mission Statement:

 To bring the blessings of the Relics and the experience of loving kindness to 
as many people around the world as possible by creating inspiring events, 

 encouraging respect and genuine openness resulting in widespread happiness and 
the conditions for world peace.

 Core Message: That loving kindness resides in every person’s heart and is the 
basis for respect, peace and happiness both individually and globally. 

 The Tour evokes a personal experience of that pure quality of loving kindness 
resulting in happiness and peace.

  

 The Maitreya Loving Kindness Tour is a free public exhibition of ancient and 
sacred relics from the historical Buddha and other eastern masters from India, 
Tibet & China. The purpose of the exhibition is to promote world peace through 
loving kindness. The exhibition is non-sectarian and is open to people from all 
walks of life and faith.

  

 His Holiness the Dalia Lama has graciously offered 8 relics of the historical 
Buddha to the collection that are over 2,600 years old each. Relics have also 
been offered from the Sakya Reliquary in Tibet and also from Meiktila Museum in 
Burma that has housed Buddha Relics for many hundreds of years. The tour also 
features relics from over 40 other masters from different parts of the world, 
in all there are over 3,000 relics in this collection. Many of them pearl-like 
crystals that Tibetans call 'Ringsel', 

 in Sanskrit they are called 'Sarira.'

  

 The tour was created in 2001 by the modern day Buddhist master Lama Zopa 
Rinpoche, Lama Zopa collected the relics from all over the world, over a period 
of many years. The tour has now visited 68 countries and over 2.3 million 
people have visited the relics. Currently two collections are touring 
simultaneously, one tour is traveling in Europe/Asia and the other in the 
Americas.

  

 Maitreya Loving Kindness Tour events are multi-faith, multi-cultural and are 
always free to attend. The exhibition is intended for all walks of life and 
faith, to learn about and to experience these historical relics.
