Dave Black is from the SF Bay Area and back in the mid 1990s I went to a
jazz session at a club on the Alameda waterfront where he was playing
with some musicians I knew. We sat and chatted for awhile. BTW, he's a
left handed drummer so can't figure why the set in the video is right
handed and the other picture it's a left handed set. He was definitely
playing a left handed set when I saw him.
