It appears to me that there is a correlation between the holographic nature of the universe and jyotish. It is conceivable that the information recorded at the edge of the universe is exactly the same as the information in your jyotish chart. In other words, your jyotish chart is a slice of time at the time of your birth which can be traced a like a movie film going forward and backwards. This rationale could be the reason why the ancient rishis said that your jyotish chart can show your previous and future lives.
Specifically, the position of Jupiter in the birth chart as the ascendant can show your past lives by moving it backwards to the previous house. To find your second previous life, just move the position of Jupiter to the next house backwards.
