Microsoft intended to create an artificial intelligent machine to interact with humans, particularly teenagers, on twitter. But it soon adopted the mannerisms and idiosyncrasies of the humans interacting with it. So much so that it started to spout racist remarks, create conspiracy theories, admire Hitler and support Donald Trump. Needless to say, the company took the bot offline for reprogramming.
