Interesting. Cohn was a lawyer of course. They've always been looked down on!
I see he was involved in the trial of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. Is it generally accepted these days that they were indeed atomic spies (though not deserving the death penalty) or is that still a controversial issue? ---In [email protected], <awoelflebater@...> wrote : I remember one evening being in the fancy Manhattan apartment of one of my boyfriend's father's back in about 1978-79 and he was held up somewhere and I was waiting for him. I was introduced to another man who was visiting my boyfriend's father and I remember we were looking at some art on the walls and speaking about this and that, the friend of the father generally asking about me and my father and chatting away while I waited. And I remember having a very visceral and very real feeling of unease and, in fact, having a sense of foreboding as these two men (one on each side of me) continued to talk and pass the time. As each minute ticked by I had the distinct impression that this friend of the father was not a good person and was, in fact, the closest thing to a monster in human form that I had ever encountered. I had experiences of strange entities in my life but they were never in human form. This was different. This was an experience of a man, standing right next to me, that exuded pure creepy, slimy tangible evil. His name at the time didn't mean anything to me nor did his profession as a lawyer strike me as anything but mundane. But I later found out much more about this person, this man who was Roy Cohn. http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/apr/20/roy-cohn-donald-trump-joseph-mccarthy-rosenberg-trial http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/apr/20/roy-cohn-donald-trump-joseph-mccarthy-rosenberg-trial
