At least, it would seem that making a group suspected of discussing "adult" material inaccessible to the general public is not the best way of handling the situation--if it isn't accessible except by invitation, all kinds of things could go on there without interference. At least if the public can read it, anything that looks as though it might facilitate child predation has a chance of being reported.
