And his parents likely came here back in the early '80s fleeing the war in Afghanistan, so tougher scrutiny now wouldn't have stopped them either. If you think his parents should have been stopped back then, you'll need to discuss it with Ronald Reagan, who welcomed the Afghan war refugees.
