Dear Friends, Einar’s below email includes careful anticipation of Alliant’s tactics for Thursday’s meetings.
For weeks I've been wondering whether most of us would be much less knowledgeable about the issues and science, while Alliant’s representatives would be professionals with an agenda. And whether each of us can fairly represent our interests while meeting with Alliant one-on-one, as compared to meeting with Alliant in a large group led by knowledgeable spokespeople who could far more clearly articulate and champion our collective questions, concerns and evidence. Warm best wishes, Dick Forwarded from Einar Olsen, Einar Olsen <[email protected]> This Thursday, November 16, Alliant Energy is coming to the FACC/Sondheim to demonstrate the meter/s they plan to install for all their customers here (I have heard 4-8 PM but please verify the time for yourself). They have said they do not plan to give a presentation or take questions or comments from an audience. It appears they want to deal with each of their customers one at a time. Here is a synopsis of what I have been able to learn about Alliant meters and plans, followed by some key scientific points (many scientific research links attached). Please understand that I am not an expert, technician, or physical scientist, so please do not take anything in this email as necessarily authoritative. Please check any and all info for yourself independently. 1. Alliant currently plans a 'hub and spokes' system, not a 'mesh' system. Mesh systems involve all appliances, the home meter, and many home meters, all sending signals to one another, creating a radiation mesh. This involves more radiation than a hub and spokes system. 2. Alliant states their meters will transmit two times per day. 3. If both of these take place, the radiation from these meters may not be a cause for a health concern. However, there are many other reasons to take advantage of their opt out, and to not accept any digital meter - but instead, to be firm about keeping your current analog (mechanical) meter. Over 400 local Sidhas have sent a letter to Alliant along these lines. 4. In a hub and spokes system, data from appliances is transferred to the home meter via your home's electrical wiring. This is expected by some experts to generate what is called 'dirty electricity' (DE), perhaps in amounts that could be dangerous. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=dirty+electricity&t=hf&ia=web <https://duckduckgo.com/?q=dirty+electricity&t=hf&ia=web> PLEASE NOTE: Any letter you have sent or may send to Alliant does NOT constitute an opt out. Opting out requires signing Alliant's official opt out form. PLEASE COME TO THE MEETING THIS THURSDAY EVENING AND ASK TO OPT OUT AND KEEP YOUR ANALOG METER. Also Please Note: Alliant will probably indicate that their meters are safe, demonstrate low/"safe" radiation from the meters they bring, and apply persuasive pressure to not opt out, but to accept their smart meter. If you do not accept their smart meter, they may fall back on trying to get you to accept a non-smart (non-RF) digital meter. For many reasons, I recommend not accepting any digital meter, whether 'smart' (RF) or not. Even if Alliant's current plans call for two data transfers/day, and for a hub and spokes network rather than mesh, here are 15 other reasons to not accept any digital meter from Alliant, but to be firm about keeping your analog meter: Arthur Firstenberg, one of America's most prominent and influential microwave expert opponents for decades, said he had nothing to add to the list below. Josh del Sol, perhaps currently the best known microwave opponent activist in the country, praised the following list and asked if he could use it. 16 Reasons Millions Oppose Digital Meters 1. Potential health harm to the whole household 2. Companies can start at announced parameters, then change them (remotely, invisibly, without notice) 3. Major example of excessive corporate influence 4. Massive 24/7 surveillance (do you really think this data will not be available to...whom?). 'Observation collapses the field and influences the observed.' 5. Hub and spokes smart meter system involves data transmission via home electrical wiring, expected by some experts to cause harmful ‘dirty electricity’ https://duckduckgo.com/?q=dirty+electricity&t=hf&ia=web <https://duckduckgo.com/?q=dirty+electricity&t=hf&ia=web> 6. Major step down in personal and community rights and freedom (who is doing what in my house?) 7. Many fires and explosions (no insurance company will insure digital meters specifically) https://duckduckgo.com/?q=smart+meter+fires+and+explosions&t=hg&ia=web <https://duckduckgo.com/?q=smart+meter+fires+and+explosions&t=hg&ia=web> 8. $2.2 trillion market for smart grid data accelerates excessive materialistic consumerism in our society (this revenue is a major reason for the digital/smart meter system). 9. Major, much-discussed global hacking potential exponential increase CIA Director James Woolsey "smart grid is stupid" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAid1bS8t9U <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAid1bS8t9U> And https://www.eetimes.com/document.asp?doc_id=1332547 <https://www.eetimes.com/document.asp?doc_id=1332547> 10. Instances of deception by utility companies, creating general distrust (if they do such and such, what are they hiding?) 11. Cost much more than analogs used to cost 12. Meter lifespan (on-going corporate profit bonanza) Digitals are failing in as few as five years, and analogs often last decades. Since digitals cost much more than analogs to replace, manufacturers will make much more, and consumers will pay much more (added into bill). 13. May hurt other households (like second hand smoke not only harms the smoker, but those in vicinity) 14. Can cause neighborhood and societal friction (neighbor's meter hurting your family) 15. A major component toward a global RF system, including 5 G (no wires or switches on earth, creating an RF stew, with us as ingredients). 16. Not in compliance with both international and national official Maharishi Vastu guidelines For any or all of the above reasons, I recommend Safety First and be firm with Alliant that you will keep your analog meter. ******************************* Key Scientific Points * I am not a physical scientist and am not representing any group of other people in this email or in the following comments. You are welcome to do your own research, but I suggest you read the following synopsis of the current scientific situation with Rf radiation: 1. Many good scientific studies have been published, including in peer reviewed journals, showing harm from non-thermal (non-heating) RF radiation (such as is emitted from mobile devices and smart meters). Pls cf the attached document. 2. Many studies have been published showing no harm from non-thermal RF radiation also. 3. Despite the many studies showing harm, most relevant scientific bodies state that research so far shows RF radiation to be harmless. Exception organizations are the International Agency for Cancer Research, the National Cancer Institute of the NIH, and the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM), which state that research has been published showing harm from non-thermal RF radiation. 4. This situation is similar to that of gmo food and vaccinations: Despite many published studies showing harm, many otherwise credible and even prominent institutions say no harm has been shown. Why the disconnect? 1. Studies showing no harm, and disregard of studies showing harm 2. Political correctness/conservatism/corruption 3. The scientific principle by which harm could take place is not yet known. Specifically - #3. According to Maxwell's electromagnetic equations, it is unlikely or not possible for customary amounts of non-thermal radiation to cause harm, unless the cell phone or transmitting device is very close to the body. So since it does not seem theoretical possible, many scientists are 'in denial' that harm is taking place, despite a large number of good published studies showing harm. The AAEM has therefore hypothesized that the harm is taking place via an as yet unknown quantum mechanical effect, and that Maxwell's equations are only partly involved. Dr. Andrew Goldsworthy, retired lecturer at Imperial College in the U.K. (third in reputation in U.K. after Oxford and Cambridge), has been studying the effect of microwave radiation on living tissue for decades with Russian and Israeli collaborators, and he has become convinced that non-thermal RF radiation causes a "cascading of calcium ions from the cell membrane, creating holes in the cell membrane," with highly harmful effects. Attached is a partial list of links to scientific research on microwave/RF radiation, including smart meters. Many links are not generally scientific per se, but contain sections of scientific research.
