You're evading the point about evading the point. And when you say "it's an open question as far as I'm concerned," it quite obviously isn't, as the rest of your reply amply demonstrates. You're a True Nonbeliever, no doubt about it. You wouldn't believe anything positive anyone put forward about TM or MMY, which for me raises serious questions about the objectivity of your judgment. The unpalatable truth (for you, that is) is that TM is an amazingly effective technique that can in many cases produce dramatic, life-changing benefits for those who practice it. Your dismissal of all positive comment as a product of the TMO PR machine is the last resort of someone who for whatever reason chooses to ignore a considerable amount of evidence. Even the existence of this board is a tribute to the power of the TM technique, and most people here have had significant benefits from their practice of TM, although many of them choose to forget that in their rage at the direction the movement has taken in recent years (or decades).
