The word "mahaa" has 2 syllables.
The word "RSi" has 2 syllables, too (R-Si).
(tankero: tuu tii tu törtti tuu...)
When they are combined the result
is 3 syllables: the second vowel of "mahaa"
is shortened and the vocalic (syllabic) R of "RSi"
changes to its consonantal counterpart:
maharSi (ma-ha-rSi?)
