The median salary for an "experienced senior physicist" was $106,716 as of December 2005, according to this site: http://www.jupiterscientific.org/sciinfo/sciencesalaries.html The 75th percentile for a "tier V" physicist (eight-plus years of experience) was $115,372, so Hagelin's definitely at the high end of the range, but as you say, not outrageous (unless the filing you saw was from many years ago). ------------------------ Yahoo!
