I'm too lazy to check that out now, but I'm quite sure it's "om bhuur bhuvaH svaH" (pronounced approximately like "bhoo[oo]r bhoovas swaha") The "stand alone" form of "bhuur" is "bhuuH (bhoohoo)", but due to sandhi the visarga-sound 'H' changes to 'r', because the visarga is followed by a voiced consonant 'b'. As you can see, pronunciation of visarga is greatly affected by what's following it. If a pause follows visarga, at least nowadays it's usually pronounced with an "echo vowel" (svaH -> swaha, bhuuH -> bhoohoo, RSiH -> risheehee). > > > > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > Tired of spam?
