Dear friends in USA,
in the last weeks I did not find much time
to read in your list, but a TM-teacher friend of mine, Jörg Dao, sent me the
latest, "readiness for resistance" indicating messages regarding all the
bald-faced acts of members of the old TM-Movement.
I only can tell you: Be bold and fight the fight up to the last extent
! This old movement, which has built an iron circle around
Maharishi is on the verge to die. You only have to give it the proper deathblow
now. Do not hesitate to do so and build up an new and tolerant movement
!
My first stronger doubts about the integrity of
the movement came, when my mother, - who was by the way a medical
doctor and a TM-Teacher (mentioned in the Lake-Lucerne-Brochure as "special
guest" - Dr. Tilly Holtz) - and me provoked the organizers by filling out the
interview form for the purpose of attendance of the first World Peace
Assembly 1979 in Germany in a non-conforming manner. There was the typical
mendacious question: "Do you also practice other techniques than TM ?
Please describe !" Everybody knew the meaning of this question. My mother and me
wrote: "Yes, Agni-Hotra-Yagya, twice daily morning and evening regularly." This
was just another lie :-), but it worked. We got invited to the course-location
at the Schledehausen-Academy, where also the German National Office was
seated. Charlotte Röder (written also Roeder in case you cannot
transform the German umlaut) told us not to attend the meetings only the
Siddhi-Program. Her husband, Dr. Heiner Röder (Roeder) got informed by my mother
in Seelisberg to ask Maharishi about the consequences. (Heiner was my mother's
personal TM-Teacher in Frankfurt. She enabled the local teachers to establish
the until today biggest TM-Center Frankfurt ever had.)
Heiner went to Maharishi and told him the
Yagya-Story (at this time noone in the movement even knew about such
possibilities of practice). Maharishi, as he reported closed the eyes. meditated
for while, then smiled and said: "Let them do !"
This was the key-word in my movement carreer. It
was the beginning of my individual path for real freedom of spiritual
development and Maharishi always encouraged me indirectly to go for
it, whenever he could do so (just in secret).
Thereupon came Vera Meyer, wife of former leading
Jyotishi Siebelt Meyer. She told that Maharishi was gathering the whole staff
for explaining to them something completely unforeseen. I do not want to repeat
the whole story but one of his historic statements was: "I have to play a
foolish game in order to save the movement."
On Guru Purnima 2000 he said: "I do not want to
have employees", especially addressing tjhis message to the American
movement.
Hence one of the latest stages of this game is
the foolish re-certification procedure. Believe me, friemds. It was only meant
for isolating all those, who were not anymore worth to teach in Maharishi's
eyes. For those he raised the price to an unsurmountable height, so that they
got elegantly eliminated.
Wake up ! Consider Maharishi's role as someone,
who tries to give you concealed and cryptic hints, without speaking it out
loudly. Go and realize all his wishes on your own without asking him for
authorisation or permission anymore ! You are sufficiently authorised,
because you have all nature-techniques and support. When I was asking him in
1979, when I got mobbed by the Austrian TM-Movement, what I should do now,. he
replied almost indignantly: "What kind of problems ? Now you have the TM-Siddhis
and you get, what you want... !"
It is right, that all these "policies" wear the
hand-writing of Maharishi (at least most of them). But Maharishi had never given
command to execute them in a foolish, cruel and heartless manner. Never, never,
never ! He allows everybody to "think with his heart". "Because on the level of
the heart only I am conveying my messages. There are no other means of
communication". (Maharishi testimonied by Vera Meyer, Seelisberg
1979).
