As has been the case from the get-go, all MUM students are required 
to practice TM. I think they're aware that the latest bunch may 
include people willing to sit with their eyes closed for 20 minutes 
deliberately NOT meditating. I believe that to counter this, MUM now 
has the meditation report card thing which monitors the changes in 
the EEG of students along the lines that long-term practitioners of 
TM generally show. I think the assumption is that if someone is only 
pretending to do TM, their EEG won't show any long-term changes, so 
the report card thing will provide incentive for the students to 
actually practice TM while they are there.

Whether or not there is really a consistent enough change in EEG to 
warrant this assumption (or whether or not this is why the MUM folk 
are starting this) is left as a topic for debate...
