One's inferior natural work is better than superior unnatural work. Death in carrying out one's natural work is useful. Unnaturalwork produces too much stress. One's inferior natural work is better than superior unnatural work. One who does the work ordained by one's inherent nature (without selfish motives) incurs no sin (or Karmic reaction). (See also 3.35) (18.47) Maharishi's translation for the identical hemistich is more accurate: 3. 35: Because one can perform it, one's own dharma [sva-dharma -- carde], (though) lesser in merit, is better than the dharma of another [para-dharma].
