If it was written like "aatmaatattvamasi", it could be "de-sandhied" to "aatmaa + atat tvam asi", but at least this devanaagarii text http://sanskrit.gde.to/all_pdf/chhaandogya.pdf has the words "aatmaa" and "tattvamasi" written separately.
