I have met gay men who were precocious minors who pursued men, and I've met men who were pursued by such youth. And, from the sound of their experiences, adult-minor sexual activity is not *necessarily* damaging. But, nevertheless, their does exist between adults and children a power gap, and the children need to be protected against coercion and sexual predation. Age of consent laws are not a perfect solution, but some seem more intelligent than others. For example, there are laws where adult-minor sexual activity is legal when the age difference is no more than a specified number of years. IIRC, the laws in Holland are even more liberal in that regard. ------------------------ Yahoo!
