Many in the civilized world find any reference to the swastika simply objectionable. Pageantry, as second rate as this may be, is a conscious social construct. Chief among its symbolic functions is the inculcation of power. The Christian cross, burning or otherwise, only underscores the self-evident; power in all forms should be questioned.
