The only thing I can figure out is that the film was financed by George Harrison. And since we all know that no one who has ever met Maharishi is able to do anything on their own ever again, or display their own creativity without it being directly due to Maharishi's "influence," then the Life of Brian was inspired by TM and MMY. Like I said, stupid. IMO it's a factor of the self importance thang that is drummed into TMers. TM is "the best" technique of meditation, Maharishi is "the best" teacher, the only one who knows what's what, and butt- bouncers can save the world.
