Because of your age? (Would you have felt the same with a 17 yr old
girl?) Her age? Her being your best friends mother (strained or
uncomfortable relation with friend?)

In much of europe and south america, I think the age of consent is
around 14. (In Iowa it appears to be 14 unless the youth complains
then its 16.) In Europe are there  Debra Lafave type issues?
