I was thinking about that when I read that earlier quote that
tri3nity posted, speaking about how it wasn't the length or
diligence of practice that brought about liberation, but the
orientation of the practitioner during the practice.
I was further thinking that perhaps Maharishi, recognizing that TM
on its own dissolves the underpinnings of actions associated with
the will, acts in such a way to guide those who follow him, to
eventually surrender to the Self. More of an intuitive thought than
an analytical one.
