Jesus also, said.."I am in the Father, and ye in me, and I in you". 
He also said, "Before Abraham was, I AM"

Take these phrases together and you are talking about a fundamental 
transcendental entity that embodies Truth, and is within everyone, 
and is eternal. 
Hmmm...sounds familiar.

(but don't bother trying to explain that to a fundie christian.)
