Well, that's a stretch.

You mean because he left out the "e"?  How does
that indicate anything about how he got the name
"Maharishi"?

No, that isn't the question with regard to a supposedly
informational article on Transcendental Meditation.
To call him "Mahesh," as you've just pointed out, is to
express a personal opinion.  The *fact* is that he is
nearly universally known by the name "Maharishi."
